My crazy obsession

I feel like the word obsession might be a little overboard for what I’ll be explaining, but according to everyone I know this is a slight obsession. SHOES! I love shoes, and I have always been in love with shoes. I can remebe being in elementary school and using the money I had saved up to buy shoes. If you know me, you know that there is not a day that goes by that I’m not wearing some type of sneakers whether it’s Jordan’s or even just some New Balance’s. I would say that shoes are the way I express myself through my outfit. You can wear a simple outfit but wear a pair of sneakers that really make the outfit come together and pop.

The question I get asked the most is how many pairs do I have? And that number changes all the time! Here at school I have over 25 and I’m now having to either leave some back home or sell a few pairs (which is really hard for me to do). I have no clue how many I have back home but if I could make a guess, I’d say in total I have over 45 pairs of sneakers.

Since being in college, whenever I see shoes that have any shade of purple, I must buy them since UNA’s colors are purple and gold. Another thing that I’ve noticed since being in college is how different my style is now, but when it comes to shoes, nothing has changed. I may dress different with my clothes, but I’ll never change the way I step.

As my mom once said, “you could spend your money on way worse thing,” and believe me when I say this, I will forever take that and run with it! That will always be my excuse to buy a new pair of shoes!
